TEXICO 11/24/2014

hey guys!!!!

so this week has been crazy fun and kinda scary!!! im seriously living in mexico! its great but super sketch at the same time!!! haha

so this week there were a few shootings in the apartment complexes that we go to... i guess this time of year the crime rate goes up a bit:) haha we have just been hearing alot of scary stories recently... it creeps me out for a sec but then i get over it! haha im not gonna tell yall everything cause i dont want to freak my mom out! haha but yeah we are safe and everything is good!

We have sooo many awesome investigators!!! we had a huge thankgiving party this saturday and it was tooooo fun!!!!! I WISH MISSIONARIES CAN DANCE! that is one of the most difficult rules for me! I LOVE SPANISH MUSIC!!! haha it was so fun, its super funny cause the hespanics have no idea why we even celebrate thanksgiving... they just use it as an excuse to throw a party!!! haha

Oh and we were teaching a lesson outside and all of a sudden a really really drunk guy comes up and shakes my hand and just stands there while we were teaching... and during the lesson he would just stare at me and wink.... haha it was sooo funny i was peeing my pants!

oh and i saw a dog attacking another dog like strait up mexico dog fighting going on! it was awful!

I love being on a mission soooo much!!!! I Love Texico! and I love you guys! have a fun week and a very happy thanksgiving!

STAYING HERE! 11/17/2014

IM STAYING HERE IN MY SAME AREA WITH HNA ALLEN!!! im so excited! I love my area and my comp so much!!!!!!!

haha any way! this week was kinda slow and not much happened... other than the fact that it was the coldest ive ever been in my whole life! seriously i would rather go skiing in a bikini than bike in texas in the cold. the humidity makes you feel like your blood is frozen! its not even funny!

so i wore about 3 pairs of leggings, 3 pairs of socks, and 6 layers of shirts! haha i couldnt move, let alone ride my bike... so i fell a few times:) haha but it was fun!

im doing great and im super excited for thanksgiving! i cant believe how fast the time is flying! i have been out for FOUR MONTHS! i only have 14 more:( its making me sad! haha but ill get over it! i love you all soooo much! have the best week ever!

The best and the worst days of the mish... 11/10/2014

hey guys!

This week has been soooo crazy! I had one of the best days I've ever had on my mission and one of the worst.

I'll start off with the best day! This week we got to go to the temple!!!! OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS! I LOVE THE TEMPLE SOOOO MUCH!!!! it was the most beautiful experience ever! if you haven't gone through the temple yet you should definitely do everything you can to be able to go! it was amazing! so yeah that was the best day ever! I've never felt so happy before in my life!

And the worst day... so remember that time i told you about the drunk guy who chased me? well this was 100000x worse than that...

It was about 9:00 pm and we were biking home... and like we are used to getting chased by little chihuahuas and little dog like that.... but all of a sudden we heard really loud barking coming from behind us. And we didnt think anything of it because we thought they were in a gate. but they weren't... OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS!!! all of a sudden we see TWO HUGE BLACK WOLF DOGS hauling trash in our direction... and then a second later they were at my feet growling and barking and trying to bite my feet off!!!! seriously my worst nightmare... ive never been so terrified in my whole life! I'd rather get chased by 100 drunk guys! oh and did i mention that i was riding with a flat tire! haha yuuuup! anyway i was praying the whole 5 MIN they chased us that i wouldn't have to go to the hospital to get like rabies shots or something. But once they left and we got into our apartment i looked down at my feet and saw that they didn't even leave a scratch on me... honestly the biggest miracle that i have ever witnessed because i should have lost a foot or something. Me and Hna Allen couldnt even move we were shaking from head to toe! but i know that we had guardian angels with us because we should have been eaten alive. im so grateful for the protection that we've been blessed with!

But other than that I've had such a great week! David got the priesthood this week and is still the happiest man alive! oh and remember that flat tire? well i was inflating it again and it exploded! another of one of the most frightening experiences of my life! haha all the papers in the house blew off the tables! haha and i still have the ringing in my ear! haha but it was pretty funny:)

Mission life is SOOOO GOOD!!!! i love being out here and i love all the experiences good and bad!

I hope you all have a good safe week! and if anyone wants to send me some pepper spray for Christmas that would be great! love you guys!!!

This week was.......... different 11/3/2014

hola!!!!

oh my gosh so this week was unlike anything ive experienced before...

So on Monday i was thinking to myself how lucky ive been because i havent been sick for the past like two years! then bam... the next day i was down for the count! lets just say i spent all of Tuesday on the toilet with my head in the trash can.... yeah at the same time if you catch my drift! sorry if that was too much information but that just gives you a taste of how i felt this week! haha but its ok cause it only lasted for about 10 hours:)

Then the next day we had exchanges! it was awesome!!! then the next day Hna Allen was really sick and had to go on "vacation" for a few days so that they could figure out what was wrong with her... so i got a new companion for the weekend and GUESS WHO IT WAS???? HNA REIS!!!!! my mtc companion!!! how cool is that!?! haha so this week has been pretty crazy!

we had a fun Halloween! i got some sweet pics (coming soon) we also tried to teach a group of really drunk guys ... it was pretty entertaining! haha We have a return appointment! haha so we will see how that goes!

then this Sunday David was confirmed! i have never seen anyone so happy before!!!! i just cant even tell you how much i love being on a mission and how much i have learned already!!! i still have a lot of learning to do! haha but this experience has been on of the best experiences of my whole life!!!! MISSIONS ARE THE BEST!
